Fees and insurance

Sessions are $250.

We are not in network with insurance, but we will provide a superbill so you can seek reimbursement from your insurance company. We have also partnered with Mentaya, a service that streamlines out of network reimbursement for therapy sessions. You can read more about that option here. You can also use your HSA or FSA to pay for therapy.

Please note that the most secure way to contact us is via phone. We are not an emergency provider. If you are in an emergency, please call 911, the National Suicide Lifeline at 1.800.273.8255, or go to your nearest emergency room.

FAQs

Use the booking links above to pick a time directly on Meg's or Elizabeth's calendar. If you are not sure who to see, send us a message describing what you are looking for and we will point you to the right fit.

How do I schedule a first session?

1

We calculate fees based on scope, complexity, and projected resources, then present a transparent proposal.Sessions are $250. We are a private pay practice and do not bill insurance directly. We provide a superbill for out of network reimbursement, partner with Mentaya to make that process easier, and accept HSA and FSA payments.

What does a session cost?

2

Yes. Both clinicians are licensed in Illinois and see clients by secure video anywhere in the state. Many of our clients live in Chicago suburbs like Oak Brook, Evanston, and Naperville, or elsewhere in Illinois, and never come into the office. We are not able to see clients located outside Illinois.

Do you offer online sessions?

Where is the office?

4

We are at 30 N. Michigan Ave., Suite 901, in downtown Chicago, near Millennium Park. The building is accessible by CTA and Metra, and there is paid parking nearby.

Who should I see, Meg or Elizabeth?

5

Meg Doster, LMFT specializes in EMDR, trauma, panic, and couples therapy. Elizabeth Bodett Dresser, LCPC specializes in IFS, perfectionism, burnout, and therapy for entrepreneurs. If your situation overlaps or you are not sure, just ask. We will tell you honestly who is the better fit.

What happens in the first session?

6

The first session is a conversation about what brought you in, what you have already tried, and what you are hoping will change. There is no pressure to tell your whole story at once. By the end, you should have a clear sense of whether this feels like the right fit and what working together would look like.
